Travel: I Am Amsterdam.

Travel: Amsterdam Photo Diary http://psychologyfoodandfitness.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/travel-diary-i-am-amsterdam.html
Well, i finally made it to Amsterdam! It's a place that has been on my wishlist for a while now. I wanted to experience the beautiful canals, walk along the bike saturated roads and experience the beautiful architecture, of course. I'm not really a museum type of girl, so they weren't on my list, aside from the Anne Frank House!

Amsterdam has SO much to do (as i found out after a quick google search) and we definitely had a packed full 3 days. We set off Saturday morning, arriving in Amsterdam around 10am after a super quick train ride from the Airport to Central station. We left to come home at 6pm Monday night and enjoyed a Leon at the airport.

I have never walked so much in life! 36000 steps every day! Yes every day. You could get a transport pass but personally we found walking was a) cheaper and b) you got to see EVERYTHING! We'd seen so much just by walking through centrum on the way to the hotel. We got the IAmsterdam map which has all the key photo-spots and attractions on.

I had such an amazing few days in Amsterdam - it's such a chilled vibe. We enjoyed an evening sat on the canal with our feet on a boat with a drink from the shop. You could never do that in Manchester! I love how laid back it is. We enjoyed watching some street dancers at the Rembrandt Monument. I would go back in a heartbeat!

In the day time, i would more than recommend a canal cruise (of course - it's a must right?!), sitting on the rooftop at Nemo, visiting Anne Frank Huis, visiting Vondel Park and the I Amsterdam sign. We spent our days at these places. I especially loved the parks in the nice weather we had.

Have you been to Amsterdam? What was your favourite part?
